Media Center

BF READS A BOOK is a year long reading program created for the BF community.  We will read, discuss, and enjoy books together.  The 2017-2018 topic is Digital Citizenship.  All BF students, staff, and parents are encouraged to read any or all of the six books featured this year and attend book discussions or activities.  Activities will be listed here, in the BF READS A BOOK Module in the grade level Canvas page, and on the morning announcements!

All students and staff that have read Need by Joelle Charbonneau are invited to stay after school on Wednesday, Feb. 21st to Skype with the author in the LGI from 3 pm to 4 pm.  What an exciting opportunity!

Six Book Challenge

Students are challenged to read all six novels. Students who complete the Reading Counts or Canvas quiz with a grade of 7 or higher on all six novels will be awarded a BF READS A BOOK "Boss" certificate at the end of the year. Students should tell Ms. McCormack in the library when they are finished reading all six novels.  She will verify on Reading Counts and in Canvas.  There are quizzes for Need, Backlash, Worthy, and Unfriended in Reading Counts.  The quizzes for The Silence of Six and In Case You Missed It are listed in the Canvas Modules.

And the 2017-2018 books are:
